Athletes from across Ohio are invited to participate in USA Triathlon’s Ohio State Age Group and High School Triathlon Challenge.  This year’s event gives athletes from 13 years of age to 80 year of age, males and females, an opportunity to participate in an exciting and fun event.  There are no qualifying requirements to participate.  Duathletes are also welcome to participate in the duathlon division.

This year’s event, originally slated to be part of the Ohio State Ross Heart Hospital TriFit Challenge Triathlon that takes in downtown Columbus, Ohio was moved to Deer Creek State Park.

The event takes place in the scenic Deer Creek State Park in Pickaway County (about 35 minutes South of Columbus, OH) and features a mostly flat and fast course with a few rolling hills on the bike.  Triathletes will be swimming a rectangular course along the beach while duathletes will start their race with a run within the park. The bike course take place on the roads surrounding Deer Creek Lake. The races finish with an out and back run course within the park.
