Portage Lakes Trail Scramble

Just south of the Cuyahoga Valley National Park sits Portage Lake State Park. Beginning at the beach and following the Shoreline Loop trail, you will be gliding through a 10K smooth looped course. The events of the day will be an individual trail run of a Sprint (5K & 10K), Step-Up (20K) or Enduro (30K), while the relay teams will take part in a 40K relay (Team of 3).

At some point on the trail you may forget you are in the Midwest, even if just for a moment! Escape to Portage Lakes for a great day out on the trails.

As the trail community is one that bands together, you can either run this event as an individual, or you can run it with friends, in a relay style. The relay will be for any looped event, with more than 2 loops.

As part of the GRIT Trail Series, this race will accumulate points, based on the division and distance selected. (Points System)
