The Gauntlet

Have you conquered adventure races, mud runs, triathlons, or the crossfit Open and want to challenge yourself in a different way? The Gauntlet is unlike any run, obstacle race, WOD, but a combination of all - it is a fitness competition designed to test your overall fitness, endurance, strength, speed, agility, adaptability, and most of all your perseverance.

The Gauntlet, presented by Home Depot, OSU Sports Medicine, and Boyd's Tire,is a series of ten-twelve individual and group challenges over a 5K course over a two-day period June 15-16 at Alum Creek State Park. The final and possibly deciding challenge is on Sunday, June 16 with the Gauntlet 5K urbanathlon (note the 5k on Sunday is open to non-challenge participants). The creative and unique challenges have been designed by local crossfit gyms, personal trainers, and fitness crazies with a varying degrees of difficulty to test your complete fitness. Winners are determined by a point system in each challenge and not by finishing position achieved.

There are TWO WAYS TO COMPETE, TWO WAYS TO WIN! INDIVIDUAL or TEAM CHALLENGE.

100% of the proceeds from The Gauntlet go to the OSU Ross Heart Hospital for the treatment and prevention of heart disease.

PARTICIPATION IS LIMITED for The Guantlet. Participation is unlimited for The Gauntlet 5K on Sunday, June 16.

For 12 & under, sign-up for the Mini-Gauntlet on Sunday, June 16.
